Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada by her character of Bo. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter, an academic and Peter Silk, who was known as an accomplished actor, director, producer, playwright, educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories when she was at rehearsals for play together with her mother. Silk was featured in many commercials as a young child. The year 1997 was the time she graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was a resident of Toronto for her acting to progress, and then moved after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an Actorsworkshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got married in 2009 and married with a civil ceremony the month of December in that same year. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows at a Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk got a baby named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. She landed a principal role as Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans the good information that she was pregnant while filming the final episode of season 3 in an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase in the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the series' premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she's ready to go back to work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality in Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top Television Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on social networks.
